UX/UI Design
“Mission Agile” is an educational resource intended to help designers work more effectively in Agile environments. I worked on an Agile team to conduct user research, develop original content, and design the UX/UI for this interactive resource. We presented the project to key stakeholders, including the major global corporation's CIO.
The team conducted extensive user research in the form of interviews and surveys to understand how designers currently work on Agile teams and identify common pain points. We conducted Enterprise Design Thinking activities like As-Is Scenarios, Big Idea Vignettes, and Prioritization Grids to gain empathy for our users and create a release roadmap.
Once we had a comprehensive understanding of our target users and their needs from our primary research, we began creating content for the educational resource. This process entailed additional secondary research. We constructed an information architecture and built out the content for three educational modules titled “Advocate for Discovery,” “Collaboration Guide,” and “Designer Timeline.”
We performed usability tests throughout the design process in order to ensure a user-centered design, continuously iterating to tailor the UX/UI to the needs of real users. The final product was a success. Our design department utilized the content to work more effectively on their teams, and our research kick-started a subsequent study on our domain's productivity as a whole.
